Orange combines happiness of yellow and the energy of red. It symbolizes determination, enthusiasm and success. Also it can give the impression that whatever it is being used on is affordable. It is great to promote food since orange is a close color to red.

Green can suggest endurance and stability. It can be used to represent harmony, growth, freshness, and safety. What humans usually associate green with is money and wealth. Because of the interest now days with “going green” the color is the only one that can promote organic foods and products effectively.

Violet or purple takes the energy and strength of red with the stability of blue. It represents nobility, ambition, power and luxury. It symbolizes extravagance and wealth and is associated with dignity, independence, wisdom, and magic.

White reminds people of purity, wisdom, and innocence. It is considered perfection. White is generally positive and often is the color of charitable organizations, low-fat foods, and dairy products.

Black is viewed as elegant, powerful, and formal. Be careful, it can also represent death. It can have a negative association like blacklisting, black humor and so forth but iIn marketing it is dignified. It can also be viewed as prestige.
